In another achievement to be congratulated on the team forum XDA-developers Forums, regularly delight us with interesting summaries of hacker fronts. This time, a playful pen enthusiasts got there the 10.1-inch tablet PC ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime, which we write regularly in the news. Despite the fact that this tablet comes with a blocked until the boot loader (tool to unlock it promised only in February), the hackers managed to run on the device operating system, Ubuntu Linux, aimed at the desktop and laptop computers.

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime A user with the nickname Zedomax prepared a little video showing ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime running it on Ubuntu, as well as step by step tutorial, illuminating the process of installing the software platform for Android-specified tablet. As you can see from the proposed movie, the graphic interface is very slow (which is not surprising, since Ubuntu and Android, though are in a sense, family members, but very distant), but the command line works pretty well.
